What the connectway.net site, the traders.connectway.net client area, the support chat and ConnectWay in your NinjaTrader 8 collect, what we use it for and who we share it with.

We will NEVER ask for your login details for your broker or your prop firm. And ConnectWay does not send them: it runs inside your NinjaTrader 8, with the connections you already have.

1. What we collect

On the connectway.net site

Apart from the support chat (see below), the site has no forms, uses no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising tools. As with any website, the company that hosts it (Netlify) records technical data about each visit, such as the IP address and the browser. The fonts come from Google Fonts: when you open the page, your browser fetches them from Google’s servers.

When you create your account (the free trial)

  • your name and your email;
  • your password — stored in encrypted form by Supabase, the login service we use: not even we can see it;
  • your acceptance of the terms: the version of the text you accepted, the date and time, and the IP address and browser the acceptance came from;
  • the language you signed up in, so we can write to you in it;
  • the date your trial ends.

The IP address of each sign-up is also kept for a few days, to limit mass sign-ups.

In the client area (traders.connectway.net)

To keep you logged in, your browser keeps your session in its storage — and also the language you choose on the sign-up and login screens. If you filled in the pre-registration for ConnectWay’s strategies, we also keep what you wrote in it: the country, the state and the city, the WhatsApp number and the answers about your trading (the firm, the instruments, the experience and the notes).

In ConnectWay, in your NinjaTrader 8

To check the license, ConnectWay sends our server, every 20 seconds (the factory interval, which you can change in the gear):

  • the key you generated in My machines;
  • the computer’s identification: its name, the NinjaTrader Machine Id and a code that ConnectWay creates at installation;
  • the ConnectWay version and language;
  • the copier’s state for the day: whether the settings lock is on, the times of the lock, of the first copied entry and of the day lock, and how many accounts are locked — without the name of any account.

We keep the computer’s name, the Machine Id, the installation code, the version, the time of the last contact and the copier’s latest state for the day.

ConnectWay does not send any password, login or access data for your broker or your firm; nor the name, number or balance of your accounts; nor your orders and positions. ConnectWay’s records (the log) stay on your computer: we only see them if you send them to us.

In the support chat (on the site and in the client area)

The chat sits in the corner of the site and client area pages. When you open it, your browser stores a random code that links your conversations to that browser; on our side we keep only a one-way hashed version of that code. When you log out of the client area, a new code is created. When you write, we keep:

  • the messages of the conversation — yours, the assistant’s (the AI), the ready answers you opened and our team’s replies;
  • if you ask to talk to the team: the name and email you give, so we can also reply by email;
  • the page where the chat was opened and the browser’s language and time zone; with Question about a field, only the name of the point you picked — never what is written on the screen or in the fields;
  • if you are logged in, the conversation is linked to your account, and the team sees next to it your name, email, plan, account status (trial, active or inactive), ConnectWay version and how long you have been a client — never your key, computers, accounts, payments or amounts.

Before saving, the chat hides anything that looks like an access key, token or code, and long numbers (such as a card or account number). An ordinary password is not recognized: never send passwords or the access details for your broker or your firm in the chat. To limit abuse, the IP address of whoever writes becomes a code scrambled with a secret key and the day, deleted after 2 days; the IP itself is not stored in our database. As with any online service, Supabase (our server) logs technical data for each request, such as the IP address.

When the conversation goes to our team, the alerts and copies of it also reach the team’s email inboxes, and the replies you send by email reach our contact address, on Gmail.

2. What we use it for

  • to create and maintain your account and your trial;
  • to enable ConnectWay on your computers and check the license;
  • to send your account emails, such as the sign-up confirmation and the password change;
  • to answer your questions in the chat, through the assistant and our team — and to alert the team when a conversation is waiting for them;
  • to keep proof of what you accepted;
  • to protect the service against abuse.

We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

3. Who we share it with

Only with the companies that make the service work, and only what each one needs:

  • Supabase — the database, the login and the server that checks the license;
  • Netlify — the hosting of the site and the client area;
  • Resend — sending the emails;
  • Anthropic — the chat’s AI (Claude): it receives the conversation to answer your questions and to translate the messages between you and our team. If you are logged in, it also receives your first name, the products you have with the plan and the trial dates, and a summary of your computers in ConnectWay (how many slots and keys, whether each computer is connected and its version) — never your key, your computers’ names, accounts, payments or amounts. Under Anthropic’s rules for its commercial products, what we send is not used to train its models;
  • Telegram — new-conversation alerts for our team: the conversation number, the name you gave and your message;
  • Google — the Gmail of our contact address, which receives email replies and copies of the conversations;
  • Google Fonts — the site’s fonts;
  • Stripe — when subscriptions open, payments will be processed by Stripe: the card details go directly to it, and we do not receive them.

These companies may store the data on servers outside your country.

4. For how long

For as long as your account exists. The record of your acceptance of the terms may be kept longer, as proof of what was accepted.

Chat conversations are kept for up to 12 months after they close. After that, the text of the messages, the name, the email, the page and the link to your account and to your browser are deleted; only the conversation number and its dates remain — nothing that links it to you. The record of a browser left with no conversation is deleted within 30 days. Emails exchanged about a conversation also stay in our team’s email inboxes.

5. Your requests

Who is responsible for your data: DROKSMART AMERICA LLC, Ocoee, Florida, United States.

You can ask, at any time, for a copy of your data, for its correction or for the deletion of your account and your data — including your chat conversations. Write to admin.connectway@gmail.com.

6. Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, the new version will be on this page, with the new date.
